Book Reviews with Simon Mayo on BBC 5
Tomorrow -- Thursday, December 17, 2009 -- at 10:00 a.m. Eastern / 3:00 p.m. GMT, authors Robert J. Sawyer (FlashForward) and Michael Morpurgo (The Kites are Flying) will be the guests on Book Reviews with Simon Mayo on BBC Radio 5 Live (and a podcast will eventually be available here).
I just finished reading Michael's book today, by the way; it's a very touching children's story about the Palestine situation; brought tears to my eyes as I tried to describe it to Carolyn.

Unfortunately, since this was their year-end show, they spent a fair bit of time on a retrospective of the decade's best books, and then we were interrupted by news coverage that the British Airways strike had been ordered stopped by UK courts. Still, got to plug the alternative domain name for my website: FlashForwardNovel.com.
Asked to contribute to the discussion of the decade's best books I offered one fiction and one nonfiction: Audrey Niffenegger's The Time Traveler's Wife, which I lauded as science fiction, and Richard Dawkins's The God Delusion, which, despite its pugnacious tone, brought the questioning of blind faith into mainstream discourse.
