The Times reviews the FlashForward novel

The Times -- a major British newspaper -- reviewed my novel FlashForward (basis for the TV series of the same name) yesterday; the review is by acclaimed SF writer Lisa Tuttle, and concludes:
[T]he novel is an intellectual puzzle, drawing on theoretical physics to raise questions about time and space and the existence of free will, and proves once again that good science fiction does not need visual special effects to thrill.

Thrilling. I just discovered an ABC affiliate from Spokane Washington as part of my cable package and I can watch Flashforward late at night, instead of its slotted time, because of the time zone. Therefore I can still enjoy my Thursday nights with my buddies at the local pub. Such progress!!

I'm just wondering ? I love the series and now I'm reading the brilliant novel, which I only just put down to write this. But both are so different , almost like I am Legend by R. Matheson. Matheson hates that the movies of his novels are so different. he says "If you like my story so much why change it ?"I'm just wondering what Mr. Sawyer thinks of the series and the drastic changes they made to his story.

I don't believe Richard Matheson had any consulting or scriptwriting arrangement with the adaptations of his book; I'm consultant on every episode of the FLASHFORWARD TV series, and I'm writing one of the episodes myself. I'm very pleased with the series.

Thank you for your answer Mr. Sawyer. I truly enjoyed the novel (My Girlfriend hated the fact that I didn't stop asking her questions about her believe in time and Paralel universe) and I'm looking forward in March (?) for the next episodes.
