From their mouth to God's ears

Although most pilots -- especially on the comedy side -- are yet to be completed, several projects are enjoying early buzz based on screenings, testings, dailies or the strength of their script and cast.

ABC's sci-fi drama "Flash Forward" starring Joseph Fiennes is a lock for a series order.

Rob,
Flash Forward (if it is, indeed, picked up) will open the door for you to other film projects. I predict a healthy check in the mail for movie rights to WAKE. (Hollywood LOVES sequels and goes nuts over trilogies.)

Congratulations on your successes. WAKE is probably your best novel, and that is saying a lot.

No, it hasn't, The Hade -- at least not yet. Ain't it Cool News and i09 are both relying on the article I cite in this post from The Hollywood Reporter -- and that article is just the journalist's opinion that we've got a lock on being picked up. Trust me, if there's reliable news about a Flash Forward series order, you'll see it here. :)

Upon closer inspection of the article I linked I have to admit you're absolutely right, of course ... There's no real news at all in it but I was too excited to notice when I first read its headline ... This is very embarrassing for me and I'm terribly sorry!
