Film option on The Terminal Experiment renewed
I'm thrilled to report that Toronto's Divani Films and director Srinivas Krishna have just renewed their option on motion-picture rights to my 1995 Nebula Award-winning novel The Terminal Experiment for a fourth year. Woot!
The movie is being developed with the participation of Telefilm Canada and Astral Media's The Harold Greenberg Fund.

Huh! It's one of my favorite books, but I'm not sure how that's going to work as a movie. It'd be really cool to see how they'd handle it. I'd see it for sure.
(I imagine they'd have to give up the brain pattern after death frame around the story, and the social consequences resulting from it. Pity. I really enjoyed that. But the sim is interesting enough on its own.)
Hi, Steven. I'm a story consultant on the adaptation of The Terminal Experiment, and the last draft of the screenplay I saw was excellent. I think you'll be very pleased.
I think the Soulwave plays an important part of the story of how Peter comes up with the experiment. Thats how I think the whole life after death question comes into play. It wouldn't make sense not to have it in the movie.
Hi, Dawn. Steve's comments about possible changes are pure speculation on his part. :)
lol I know. I just like giving my own opinion :P sorry if I sounded too serious
