Watch your punctuation!

My friend Don Wilkat drew this to my attention, from today's Globe and Mail -- one misplaced comma in a contract that ended up costing a company millions of dollars.

Maybe Rogers should have used a semi colin instead near the beginning of the sentence or make each sentence an independent clause. I'm not that keen on grammar but again I'm not a Billion dollar company like Rogers.

I've heard of the similar storys before.
my teachers often inculcate us with this kind of cases that the importantance of punctuation.
