Reviews of my short fiction

A sad truth about writing short fiction is that the work is so rarely reviewed. So imagine my delight on discovering a site that has reviews of six of my short stories (all of which are available through Fictionwise.com via links on the reviewer's site). Over at Rainbow Dragon, you'll find reviews of:

as well as reviews of my novels Hominids and Calculating God.

Lots of other fascinating reviews are available there, too.

That is great :) And it really highlights the appeal of the internet. There is suddenly this vast free space for all of even the most obscure interests (not that yours is).

Big THer like me? Thousands of pages on it. Big Rocketry guy? Again.

Hey cool blog, and also cool reviews! I've never really been into sci fi reading that much before, but maybe now I will be! Keep up the good work :-)

Hey it might be a bit off topic, but have you been following the case in Italy, where they are trying to decide if jesus was real or not. :)

Thanks for all the kind words, everybody! I really appreciate them!

Springbok, on finding a publisher I recommend you go to the largest bookstore in your city, and spend an afternoon just looking at books: see who publishes what; find out who has books most similar to what you want to do. Then look at those books, note the editors' names, if listed (try both the copyright page and the acknowledgments page), and then look on the publisher's website for submission guidelines. In my experience, actually looking at books beats all heck out of looking at market guides (although following up by checking the market guides isn't a bad idea).
